Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Delhi · 9 days
Rajasthan, the short version
Nine days, four cities, and the Taj Mahal. For people who do not have three weeks.
The journey
Rajasthan condensed to the four cities that are worth it if you only have one go at them: Udaipur on its lake, Jodhpur under Mehrangarh, Jaipur, and Agra for the Taj at sunrise. Internal flights at either end so the days are spent in the places rather than on the road between them. It is a first trip to India, done properly rather than done fast.
Route

What stays with you
- 01Old Delhi and the Qutub Minar on the first day, before flying south

- 04Mehrangarh at Jodhpur, and the blue town under it
- 05Amber, the City Palace and Jantar Mantar at Jaipur
- 06Fatehpur Sikri, then the Taj Mahal at first light
